The City will also continue to support services that help prevent homelessness
such as landlord/tenant counseling and fair housing services through CDBG funds and the Rental
Assistance Program (which offers security deposit or delinquent rental payment assistance to
eligible households with hardship issues) funded by the General Fund. The City will also support
the implementation of the Everyone Home Plan by providing funds for County staff expenses
associated with the Plan.
OTHER PROGRAMS
To implement its housing and community development goals, the City will continue to seek out
funding opportunities generated from federal, State and local sources as well as public and
private sources.
Draft Action Plan - FY2008-09
City of San Leandro
Page 11
