FY 2008-09 Consolidated Action Plan 3 Apri121, 2008 <br />Board/Commission Findings <br />N/A <br />Summary Of Public Outreach Efforts <br />In accordance with the City's Citizen Participation Plan, which is required under the <br />Consolidated Plan, notices of both public hearings have been published in the newspaper <br />and sent to a CDBG mail list of interested parties. A summary of the Annual Action Plan <br />was published in the newspaper prior to each of the two public hearings as well. The draft <br />Plan was made available at City Hall (City Clerk's Office and Community Development <br />Department), the Main Library, and on the City website for the required 30-day comment <br />period from March 19 through April 21, 2008. A second public hearing will be held on <br />Apri121, 2008. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />HUD will enter into contract with the City for the grant amount. The grant is on a <br />reimbursement basis with funds being reimbursed by HUD after expenditure by the City for <br />activities designated in the Annual Action Plan. <br />Budget Authority <br />Budget authority is derived from Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of <br />1974 (24 CFR 570 et seq.). <br />Attachments: <br />A. Final FY 2008-09 HUD Annual Action Plan (See resolution.) <br />CONCLUSION <br />Staff recommends the City Council hold a second public hearing and adopt the resolution approving <br />the Final FY 2008-09 Annual Action Plan authorizing the execution of all relevant documents by <br />the City Manager and submitting the Action Plan to the Alameda County HOME Consortium and <br />HUD. <br />
