IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-038 (1925) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROPRIATE $10,000 FROM <br />MEASURE B BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS TO A NEW BICYCLE AND <br />PEDESTRIAN EDUCATION ACCOUNT <br />WHEREAS, Measure B is aone-half cent sales tax authorized by voters in 1986 under <br />passage of Measuree B ballot initiative; and <br />WHEREAS, Measure B funds can be used for bicycle and pedestrian safety related <br />improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That $10,000 of Measure B funds be appropriated for a new Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />Education Account. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 21st day of April, <br />2008 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: C~~%vv~-'~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
