• <br />14th Street. Grocery Outlet is proposing use of the existing building with minimal external <br />improvements. Their initial application was incomplete and a complete application was <br />resubmitted on September 6. Following determination that the application is complete, it <br />would be schedule for review by the Board of Zoning Adjustments. This site, however, is <br />included as one of the 39 TOD sites that would be affected by a moratorium. <br />The Committee agreed that they see greater opportunity for this site. <br />6. Update on Development Projects <br />Business Development Manager Sims provided the Business Development Committee with <br />an informational overview as to the status of various projects currently underway in San <br />Leandro. These projects include: <br />Cbevys -The Chevy's in Bayfair Center had the most successful opening in the chains <br />history. <br />Old Navy -Madison Marquette plans to turn over the building to Old Navy for tenant <br />improvements in the next two weeks. Old Navy is schedule to open at Bayfair Center before <br />the holidays. <br />Parking at Bayfair -Parking improvements are scheduled to be completed prior to the <br />holiday season. <br />Jamba Juice and Red Brick Pizza -This cafe and restaurant are in construction on the <br />corner between Kohls and Staples. It is highly unlikely that Staples will open in time for the <br />holidays. <br />Bayfair TOD Planning Effort -BART, in conjunction with Madison Marquette, Alameda <br />County and the City, is leading the Bayfair TOD planning effort and will hold a public <br />meeting on September 16, 2006. <br />Starbucks -The Starbucks at Bayfair Center is colorful and unique and scheduled to open in <br />October 2006. <br />1016 - 1052 Davis Street -The firehouse office complex on Davis Street is projected to be <br />completed in March 2007 and should be leased prior to completion. <br />Toscani Place -The nine townhomes on Davis Street developed by David Langdon are <br />scheduled for completion in November/December 2006. <br />Marina Square -The Old Navy Outlet will be closing and will reopen as a Gap Outlet. An <br />Eileen Fisher outlet is now open. <br />7. Public Comments <br />None <br />8. Committee Member Comments <br />Committee member Badger requested a report on the red-light cameras. <br />9.
