Section 7-5-910: RESERVED. <br />Section 7-5-915: MATERIALS. <br />A. Section 701.1 -Materials of the Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby deleted and replaced to <br />read as follows: <br />Drainage piping shall be cast iron, galvanized steel, galvanized wrought iron, lead copper, <br />brass, extra strength vitrified clay pipe, or other approved materials having a smooth and <br />uniform bore. <br />B. Section 701.1.2 of the Uniform Plumbing Code and sections 701.1.2.1, and 701.1.2.2 of the <br />California Plumbing Code are hereby deleted. <br />C. Sections 701.2 -Materials of the Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby deleted and replaced to <br />read as follows: <br />Drainage fittings shall be of cast iron, malleable iron, lead, brass, copper, vitrified <br />clay, or other approved materials having a smooth interior waterway of the same <br />diameter as the piping served and all such fittings shall be compatible with the <br />type of pipe used. <br />D. Sections 903.1- Materials of the Uniform Plumbing Code - is hereby deleted and replaced to <br />read as follows: <br />Vent pipe shall be cast iron galvanized steel, galvanized wrought iron, lead, <br />copper, brass, or other approved materials having a smooth and uniform bore. <br />E. Section 903.1.2 of the Uniform Plumbing Code and sections 903.1.2.1 and 903.1.2.2 of the <br />California Plumbing Code are hereby deleted. <br />F. Sections 903.3 -Materials of the Uniform Plumbing Code - is hereby deleted and replaced to <br />read as follows: <br />Vent fittings shall be cast iron galvanized steel, galvanized wrought iron, lead, <br />copper, brass, or other approved materials having a smooth and uniform bore. <br />Section 7-5-920: FEES FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS. Section 103.4 of the <br />Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(a) General. Fees shall be assessed in accordance with the provisions of this <br />section. <br />(b) Permit Fees. A fee for each plumbing permit, in the amount set forth in the <br />applicable fee schedule resolution adopted by the City Council shall be paid to the <br />Building Official. <br />z <br />
