accordance with California Government Code Section 50022.6, at least one true copy of the Uniform <br />Fire Code has been on file with the San Leandro City Clerk since fifteen days prior to enactment of <br />this Ordinance. While this Ordinance is in force, a true copy of the Uniform Fire Code shall be kept <br />for public inspection in the office of the San Leandro City Clerk. A reasonable supply of the <br />Uniform Fire Code shall be available in the office of the San Leandro City Clerk for public purchase. <br />Section 2. Section 3-3-245 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Section 3-3-245: DISPENSING DEVICES. Section 5202.3.7.3 is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />Dispensing Devices. Dispensing devices are allowed to be installed on top of or immediately <br />adjacent to protected aboveground tanks. Remote islands are allowed if the piping is buried <br />underground and constructed according to Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16, Section 2635 of the <br />California Code of Regulations. <br />Section 3. Filin . <br />A copy of this ordinance shall be filed within thirty (30) days after adoption with the California <br />Building Standards Commission in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 17958.7. <br />Section 4. Severability. <br />If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of the Ordinance <br />is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or ineffective by any court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the remaining portions of <br />this Ordinance or any part hereof. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed each <br />section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause phrase of the Ordinance irrespective of <br />the fact that one or more of them would be declared unconstitutional or invalid. To this end, the <br />provisions of the Ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />Section 5. Effective Date and Publication. <br />This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title thereof shall be published <br />once prior to adoption. <br />
