EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Project Description <br />The project involves the consolidation of various plan lines to develop a Master Plan of City <br />Streets based on the 1988 Report and current available information. To this intent the project <br />will require gathering and organizing the necessary information required to develop a Master <br />Plan of City Streets including parcel data, existing plan lines, the General Plan, the Final <br />Bicycle and Pedestrian Design Guidelines. The compilation of this information will create a <br />new set of maps that will indicate existing and desired right-of-way widths. The maps will also <br />indicate which parcels will be impacted by the need for right-of-way. This information will be <br />put into a GIS database to be used for reference and updated as necessary. <br />SCOpe <br />The scope of work proposed herein is referred to as the "Procedure Development for <br />Analyzing and Determining ROW/Plan Line.Locations", hereafter referred to as "Phase 1" <br />services. The following is a description of the procedure that is proposed to be used to analyze <br />and determine the existing right-of-way (ROW) and future plan line locations for certain streets <br />in the City of San Leandro. <br />Step 1: Initial Project Coordination: <br />The City shall identify the streets that are to undergo aROW/Plan Line review in Phase <br />1. Three {3) streets, each having a maximum length of one-half ('/~) mile, be used for <br />Phase 1. <br />2. G&M shall meet with the City staff to review the Phase 1 project locations and obtain <br />the initial set of City documents to be used in establishing the existing right-of-way and <br />proposed plan line locations. <br />Step 2: Document Review and Organization <br />G&M shall review and organize the existing City documents and shall obtain pertinent <br />documents from other sources that are to be used in the establishment of the <br />ROW/Plan Lines. G8~M shall review the following list of information and/or drawings: <br />a. Existing ROW/Plan Line Drawings: Conduct a detailed review of any existing <br />City Right-of-Way Maps and/or Plan Line Drawings to determine the accuracy <br />and completeness of the existing right-of-way and future plan line location <br />information thereon. <br />Consulting Services Agreement t~ekween 129-28-179 <br />City of San Leandro and Greenwood and Moore, Inc.--Exhibit A Paget 5 <br />
