FOR SENIOR CENTER PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 06-210-18-116 SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION The Cooperation Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and the City of San Leandro establishes the process whereby Agency agrees to pay for the design and construction of the San Leandro Senior Community Center project and the City agrees to assist the Agency by providing the construction oversight. The Award of Contract to Alten Construction Co. provides for the construction of the Senior Center building and associated site improvements on city-owned property, and the reconstruction of a 57-space parking lot on Eden Township Healthcare District property to the west of the new building. Staff recommends approval of the Cooperation Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro for the purpose of undertaking Redevelopment activities within the Alameda County-City of San Leandro Redevelopment Project area relating to the San Leandro Senior Community Center; and award of contract for the
