(1500) <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked whether the Finance Committee has reviewed this <br />item. Mr. Jermanis indicated that, since the City Council appoints the City Attorney, it <br />seemed appropriate to bring the item to the full Council, but it could be referred to the <br />Finance Committee. <br /> <br />By consensus, the matter was referred to the City Council Finance Committee. <br /> <br />8.N. Matter of Resolutions Approving First Amendment to Employment Agreement with <br />City Manager John J. Jermanis and Approving Employment Agreement with Interim <br />City Manager Stephen L. Hollister. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak commented that the City Council has not had the <br />opportunity to discuss the appointment of Interim City Manager in closed session. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Souza, seconded by Councilmember <br />Starosciak, to refer the matter to a closed session. <br /> <br />A substitute motion was made by Vice Mayor Stephens, seconded by Councilmember <br />Prola, to approve the two resolutions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Souza expressed some concern that the City Manager recruitment <br />process would be delayed until March, and that the recruitment timeline was not agreed <br />upon by the Council. She added that, in adherence to protocol, the matter should be <br />discussed in closed session. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2008-091 <br /> , Resolution Approving First Amendment to <br />Employment Agreement with City Manager John J.
