Any organization should work on quality and consistency and this would be true for Davis Street. <br />Expanding is good but if the agency continues to have staff turnovers in key positions, I worry about the <br />foundation. One person cannot effectively manage the whole agency. <br />they are very positive and have come a long, long way. <br />no input <br />Board performance is a concern in that the board is the community persons of Davis Street. <br />Find major contributors such as large corporations, and possibly other foundations for grant money <br />The entity is not as strong as it appears. The board nees to more actively support Davis Street. Im not sure <br />that most of the board the people involved could create a capital fundraising effort, it would be interesting <br />to challenge them. <br />I have suggested in the past the idea of having an Advisory Board. The Advisory Board would consist of <br />members of the community who don't have time for more than perhaps one meeting per year but because of <br />their board membership would have an incentive to donate more to the organization. I have worked with <br />an organization in San Francisco that has been very successful in this regard <br />We are working with the non-profit Taproot to revitalize the agency's Annual Report.
