Excellent in <br /> the provision of social services <br /> Very good. <br /> As a contractor with the county and member in the Alameda Food Bank Food Box program DSFRC <br /> provides monthly expenditures invoices and required monthly support service <br />_ ~ _ General Pence flans <br />FIow would you describe DSFRC's mission and the services they offer? <br />Excellent <br />The mission of Davis Street is to help low-income people of the Eden area and its surrounding communities <br />improve their quality of life through short and long-term assistance. Over the years the agency has <br />intentionally developed into a comprehensive family resource center, delivering a broad array of integrated <br />support services that are flexible and adaptive to the needs of individuals and families. These services and <br />supports include: low cost and subsidized childcare; food and clothing assistance; parenting classes; <br />mentoring programs and peer support groups; computer, ESL, and literacy classes; acute medical and <br />dental care at its own in-house clinic; mental health counseling; job training and placement assistance; and <br />family economic literacy programs. <br />DSFRC is truly a comprehensive resource center, providing a range of services to vulnerable populations at <br />no cost -from food and childcare to medical and oral healthcare. <br />Agency provides a wide range of services and truly serves as a resource center for people in need <br />Comprehensive <br />Feed the hungry in our communities and provide support services that will address basic family needs <br />living in our current social and economic environment <br />Please share your opinion about the quality of services DSFRC provides the community (please <br />include a description of how you came to have this opinion) <br />very good <br />We think that Davis Street delivers high-quality services to the community. The co-location of services is a <br />huge plus as it serves the multiple needs of families in one location. We think that this "family resource <br />center" model is particularly effective because it provides a holistic, integrated approach to meeting <br />complex and dynamic family needs.
