IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-104 (3014) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR THE WASHINGTON MANOR LIBRARY, <br />PROJECT NO. 210-69-146 <br />Pursuant to an agreement between the City and Washington International Insurance <br />Company for work contained in a contract between the City and Krama, Inc. dated March 7, <br />2005, approved by Resolution No. 2008-026, the Washington Manor Library Project No. 210- <br />69-146 has been completed. <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br />project. <br />That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant to <br />said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br />given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 2°d day of <br />September, 2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />1 <br />ATTEST: ~~~'l ~ ~ ~.~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
