^ Evaluation of work compliance with standard-of-quality mock-ups, recommend <br />acceptance of corrected punch list items, Track and report on correction of deficient <br />work. <br />^ Review and prevent installation of any related work until shop drawings and/or submittals <br />have received final approval from the City. <br />^ Work closely with the City Representative to fully coordinate the scheduling of all <br />observations, inspection and materials testing requirements for the specific project to <br />ensure inspections are completed on time in an efficient manner. <br />^ Assist project manager in checking billings from testing laboratories to see that billings <br />reflect only those tests actually performed. <br />^ Oversee the work of the Special Inspectors and other representatives ofthe Materials <br />Testing Laboratory on site. Supervise on-site testing and ensure that all required testing is <br />performed. <br />^ Check and report all failed tests to project manager, and request instructions as to further <br />procedure <br />^ Review and sign al l test reports. <br />^ Maintain the DSA Testing and Inspection (T and I Sheet) <br />^ Review potential Change Orders for code/constructability concerns and sign <br />acknowledging acceptability. Advise project manager and design professional of <br />circumstances surrounding requested changes in the work. <br />^ Maintain "Record" drawings -Maintain one set of contract documents with up-to-date <br />information regarding all addendum, substitutions, clarifications, and change orders. <br />Record inspections, post all changes and RFI responses on the Record Drawings. Post <br />approved Change Orders RFI(s), shop drawings, and submittals to the approved <br />documents. <br />^ Monitor implementation of approved RFI(s), responses, shop drawings, and submittals. <br />^ Schedule Review and Updating -Review General Contractor's initial schedule submittal. <br />Review schedule monthly and provide written comments to the City and General <br />Contractor. Maintain "As-Built" Schedule - Maintain a track of General Contractor's <br />efforts during construction corresponding to the activities in the agreed upon schedule. <br />^ Reports ~-Prepare reports that may be required during the construction phase, document <br />work and conditions daily on form provided by the City. <br />^ Photographs and Videos -Provide videotape, photographic, or digital photos ofproject <br />site during construction as required to document conformance with plans and <br />specifications and to document disputed work. Provide photos as prints and digital files. <br />babel, organize, date, and catalogue photos, include an index. <br />^ Final Inspection and Punch list -Assist in final inspection and prepare list of project <br />construction deficiencies for resolution by General Contractor. <br />^ Make recommendations to the City regarding final project approval and acceptance. <br />^ Prepare all documentation required for close out of the above scope of work. Provide a <br />complete set of documentation related to the above scope of work to the City. <br />^ Provide signed verification inspection reports pursuant to Title 24 upon completion of <br />project. Final Certification of Compliance.
