IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-115 (1556) <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING AS SURPLUS ELEVEN (11) VEHICLES, ONE (1) PIECE OF <br />HEAVY EQUIPMENT, THREE (3) PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AND ONE (1) MOTORCYCLE; <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, eleven (11) vehicles, one (1) piece of heavy equipment, three (3) pieces of <br />equipment and one (1) motorcycle have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and <br />therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of <br />eleven (11) vehicles, one (1) piece of heavy equipment, three (3) pieces of equipment and one (1) <br />motorcycle at a public auction scheduled for November 8, 2008 is hereby noted. <br />Introduced by Councihnember Prola and passed and adopted this 15th day of September, <br />2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: V `%~~~ ~/~'~ ~G~ti <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
