There were none. <br />Motion to Find the City's Proposal Regarding the Proposed Acquisition of <br />Property at 262 Davis Street in Conformance with the San Leandro <br />General Plan as Required under Government Code Section 65-402. <br />Finberg /Brannan; 5 Aye, 0 No, 2 Absent -Approved <br />Secretary Livermore said that the City Council will take up this matter at its meeting on <br />September 2. <br />Item 7: Miscellaneous <br />b). Election of new Planning Commission Chair and Vice Chair. <br />Assistant City Attorney Rich Pio Roda, on behalf of the Planning Commission, invited <br />nominations for Planning Commission Chair and Vice Chair. There was only one <br />nominee named for each position. <br />Motion for Thomas Dlugosh to serve as Planning Commission Chair <br />(Ponder /Abero; 4 Aye; 0 No; 1 Abstention [DlugoshJ; 2 Absent) <br />Approved <br />Motion for Heidi Finberg to serve as Planning Commission Vice Chair <br />(Brannan /Dlugosh; 4 Aye; 0 No; I Abstention [FinbergJ; 2 Absent) <br />Approved <br />Chair Dlugosh thanked the Commissioners for their confidence in him, and said that he <br />knows that Vice Chair Finberg will do an excellent job standing in if he is unable to <br />attend. <br />Item 8: Commissioners' Comments <br />None: <br />Item 9: Staff Updates/Project Status Report <br />Secretary Livermore had no updates at this time, but said that the Commission will next <br />meet on September ] 1 to vote on additional conformity findings and to receive an update <br />on the Housing Element. Although not specifically scheduled, she anticipates future <br />sessions on the San Leandro Crossings Project. if the City Council approves the Zoning <br />Code Amendments, the Crossings project would involve Planning Commission action <br />rather than the Board of Zoning Adjustments because it also involves a Development <br />Agreement. <br />
