Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />City Attorney Williams reported that the City Council met in closed session earlier this <br />evening, and authorized the City Attorney to take appropriate action to enter into a <br />settlement in the case of Lionel Allen et al. v. City of San Leandro et al. (United States <br />District Court, Northern District, Case No. C07-03509 PJH). <br /> <br />The City Council will reconvene in closed session following this meeting on the matter <br />of the evaluation of the Interim City Manager. <br /> <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Gregory reported that he joined the 2010 Active Transportation <br />Campaign, an ACTIA steering committee, which will promote more walking and <br />bicycling. He learned that funding is available to set up Safe Routes to Schools in <br />Alameda County, and he will participate in setting up programs in San Leandro. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant reported that she attended the Alameda County Housing <br />Authority Board meeting last week. <br /> <br />Councilmember Prola reported that he attended the Alameda County Mosquito <br />Abatement District meeting last week. He passed out copies of a report he received at <br />the meeting on the West Nile Virus cases in Alameda County and comparisons with <br />other counties. <br /> <br /> <br />
