City of San Leandro
Community Benefit RFP
Proposal Instructions
Page IV-4
BUDGET: Expenses (Form 3):
Please prepare a line item budget on Proposal Form 3. On the first two lines indicate the
organization name and the project title. This line item budget should describe the total cost to
provide the programs for which you are requesting funds, even if other funding sources are being
used to support these programs.
If your proposal is for a specific project or program within the organization, provide expense
information for the project or program only. If your proposal is for programs that are provided by
the organization as a whole, then provide expense information for the whole organization. The
information provided should include the actual expenditures for FY 2006-07, the budgeted
expenditures for FY 2007-08 and the proposed budget for FY 2008-09.
Do not request more funds than you need from San Leandro to cover its proportional share of
total costs. Remember that San Leandro must receive at least the same proportion of
programs delivered as the proportion of funds you request the City to contribute to the
budget. In other words, if San Leandro-awarded funds constitute 35 percent (35%) of your
total budget, then at least the same proportion of unduplicated attendees should be San
Leandro residents residing in San Leandro corporate City limits.
NOTE: Only one (1) original (no copies) of each document needs to be submitted.
