Review of Council Agenda Items by Committee - 2 <br />Staff suggests that the Committee consider criteria such as: <br />Policy Changes -items that establish a new City policy or make significant amendments <br />to an existing policy <br />Non-budgeted items -items which were not approved with the FY budget and require a <br />budget appropriation by the City Council <br />Possible disadvantages of having additional agenda items considered by Council committees <br />include time delays and increased staff workload. <br />CONCLUSION <br />Following discussion of this matter, if the Committee determines that changes to the current <br />practice are desired, a recommendation should be made and forwarded to the full City Council. <br />
