IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION N0.2008-130- (3032) RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0.2004-153 MODIFYING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE WEST SAN LEANDRO SHUTTLE BUSINESS IlvIPROVEMENT DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD WHEREAS, on October 4, 2004 the City Council of the City of San Leandro adopted Resolution No. 2004-153, establishing the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District Advisory Board (the "Advisory Board"); and WHEREAS, said resolution established that the Advisory Board consists five (5) members of which three (3) members are business owners of businesses within the Business Improvement District Boundaries and not otherwise exempt from paying the assessment, as appointed by the City Council; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that in order to provide an Advisory Board more representative of the types of and locations of businesses within the District, it is necessary to modify the size of the Advisory Board to a total range of five (5) to seven (7) persons, of which a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of five (5) will be members who are business owners of businesses within the Business Improvement District Boundaries and not otherwise exempt from paying the assessment, as appointed by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District Advisory Board will consist of the following minimum of five (5) members to a maximum of seven (7) members: • A minimum of three (3) members to a maximum of five (5) members who are business owners of businesses within the Business Improvement District boundaries and not otherwise exempt from paying the assessment, as appointed by the City Council; • One (1) member from the City's Finance Department, as appointed by the City's Finance Director; and • One (1) member from the City's Engineering and Transportation Department, as appointed by the City's Engineering and Transportation Director.
