Information and/or Services Provided by City: <br />• Available record drawings and specifications of past WPCP designs. <br />• April 2007 Electrical Upgrade Project Documents (70 Percent Design). <br />• Input on electrical system operation and functionality. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />• Figure showing proposed electrical one line diagram. <br />• Figure showing proposed electrical site layout plan. <br />• Summary table of alternatives comparison. <br />• Summary table of cost of alternatives, <br />• Draft TM (5 hard copies). <br />Task 1.13 -Administration Control Building Evaluation. Burks Toma Architects (BTA), a subconsultant <br />to Carollo, shall prepare a TM to evaluate improvements necessary for the Administration Control Building <br />to add additional space for record storage, office space, library rooms, and laboratory. Modifications to the <br />existing locker rooms and restrooms to bring them into compliance with current ADA requirements will also <br />be evaluated. Building addition alternatives to be evaluated include: <br />• Altemative 1 -Provide additional space via cone-story 4,000 square feet expansion to the south of <br />the existing building, The existing building interior will be reorganized to expand the laboratory and <br />provide office and library space. The expansion will incorporate additional office space, a new <br />entry, and new accessible restrooms and locker facilities. <br />• Alternative 2 -Provide additional space via none-story 4,000 square feet expansion to the east <br />and west of the existing building. Similar to Altemative 1, the existing building interior will be <br />reorganized to expand the laboratory and provide office and library space. The expansion will <br />incorporate additional office space, a new entry, and new accessible restrooms and locker <br />facilities. <br />To evaluate the building alternatives, BTA shall perform the following: 1) assess spatial needs; 2) survey <br />existing building layout conditions; 3) develop sustainable design criteria and goals for achieving LEED <br />Silver certification; 4) conduct a code analysis; 5) develop building and space layout options; 6) prepare <br />cost estimates; and 7) attend meetings. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between Project No. 08-593-52-239 <br />City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc.
