He noted that we are <br />a long way away from knowing what type of development will occur on the site. <br />Councilmember Grant offered to second the motion, if the maker would agree to also <br />remove the , so that t <br />with labor union and trade organization representatives to negotiate terms that will <br />Councilmember Prola, the maker of the motion, accepted this amendment. <br />Vice Mayor Stephens offered a substitute motion, moving adoption of the resolution <br />with an amendment to paragraph 19, subparagraph (iii), to read, <br />with labor union and trade organization representation. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />City Attorney Jayne Williams reported that the City Council met in closed session <br />earlier this evening. In regards to the litigation matter of George Louie v. City of San <br />Leandro, the City Council authorized the City Attorney to enter into a settlement in the <br />amount of $30,000. The vote was 6 ayes, 0 noes, and Councilmember Gregory absent. <br /> <br /> <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant reported on the October 8 Alameda County Housing Authority <br />5,415 Section 8 housing units are <br />currently leased. Of the 6,980 units of subsidized housing in the County, the 1,285 units <br />in San Leandro represent over $1.2 million in housing subsidies. <br /> <br />
