C. Prior to issuance of building permits, the construction documents for the second <br />floor loft within the Blacksmith's Shop shall have an access and means of egress <br />window in accordance with California Building Code (CBC) 310.4. <br />D. The exit paths including the lofts shall have a minimum 7 feet clear height as <br />required in CBC 1003.2.4 and 310.6.1. (Prior to occupancy) <br />E. Prior to Certificate of Occupancy, the "circular" stairs for the lofts shall comply with <br />CBC 1003.3.3.8. <br />F. Prior to issuance of building permits, the construction documents for the <br />Blacksmith's Shop and the storage room shall show a one-hour fire rated wall to <br />separate the two occupancies -the residential unit and the storage room. Prior to <br />Certificate of Occupancy, the fire rated separation shall be constructed to the <br />satisfaction of the Fire Department. <br />V. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS <br />A. Construction activity shall not commence prior to 8:00 a.m. and shall cease by 7:00 <br />p.m. Monday through Friday, and construction activity shall not commence prior to <br />8:00 a.m. and shall cease by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and Saturday. No such construction <br />is permitted on Federal holidays. As provided in this City of San Leandro's Noise <br />Ordinance (ORDINANCE NO. 2003 — 005), "construction" shall mean any site <br />preparation, assembly, erection, substantial repair, alteration, demolition or similar <br />action, for or on any private property, public or private right-of-way, streets, structures, <br />utilities, facilities, or other similar property. Construction activities carried on in <br />violation of this Article may be enforced as provided in Section 4-11-1130, and may <br />also be enforced by issuance of a stop work order and/or revocation of any or all <br />permits issued for such construction activity. <br />B. Construction activity shall not create dust or safety hazards for adjacent properties. Dirt <br />and mud shall not be tracked onto West Estudillo Avenue, Clarke Street or any nearby <br />streets from the project site. <br />C. Construction debris, and construction materials and equipment shall not be left in the <br />frontages of the property and prominently visible from the public right -of way. <br />VI. GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />A. All residences shall have an area out of public view where their garbage and recycle <br />bins can be stored on non -service days. <br />B. The site, including the parking area, shall be well maintained and free of litter and <br />weeds. <br />C.
