IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-149 (1242) <br />RESOLUTION RENAMING THE PORTION OF HUDSON LANE TO POLAR WAY, <br />SOUTHWEST OF SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD <br />WHEREAS, Preferred Freezer Services, the developer of the former Hudson Lumber site <br />at 400 Hudson Lane, has requested that the City Council change the name of the portion of <br />Hudson Lane southwest of San Leandro Boulevard to Polar Way as depicted on the attached <br />Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Department of the Alameda County Community Development <br />Agency has approved the new street name of Polar Way, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the name Hudson Lane be changed to Polar Way for the portion of Hudson Lane <br />southwest of San Leandro Boulevard and the street sign(s) be replaced. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 15th day of December, <br />2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ]&'w' MUV Cu <br />df"— <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
