1N THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-001 (2500) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE MASTER <br />AGREEMENT NO. 002185 AND PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. OF43 TO <br />ACCEPT STATE FUNDS OF $350,000 FOR THE ADVANCED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT <br />SYSTEM (ATMs) UPGRADE PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 150-28-188, STATE PROJECT NO. <br />TLSPL-5041(032) <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has enacted legislation by which <br />certain state funds are made available for use on local transportation facilities and the City has <br />applied to the California Transportation Commission and/or State for funding from the state <br />Traffic Light Synchronization Program (TLSP). <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro must enter into a Master Agreement and Program <br />Supplement for State Aid with the State of California for the state Traffic Light Synchronization <br />Program. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the Advanced Traffic Management System <br />(ATMS) upgrade project and has allocated funding in the Capital Improvement Program budget <br />for the current fiscal year. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does resolve as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the State Master Agreement No. <br />002185 and Program Supplement Agreement No. OF43 of the Traffic Light Synchronization <br />Program, Project No. TLSPL-5041(032) for the ATMS upgrade project with the State of <br />California to receive payment of state funds. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 5~' day of January, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
