percentages of the LMHF would also have to be spent on housing for low and very low income <br />households, <br />22% of the units have to be for households earning less than 50% of AMI. <br />12% of the units have to be for households earning between 54-80% of AMI. <br />The following table outlines the potential number of units that could be funded with LMHF for <br />the next ten years based on the amount of anticipated tax increment and the amount of average <br />subsidy per unit. The targeted units are part of the Housing Element requirements for very low <br />and low income. The new citywide Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance, approved by the City <br />Council in November 2004, is anticipated to provide all the moderate units the Housing Element <br />recommends be added to the supply. The new ordinance will require all developments <br />throughout the city to provide 15% affordable units on-site. <br />Table 10.
