In November 2008, the City received bids for the Waste Activated Sludge Project. C. Overaa & <br />Co. was the apparent low bidder and the City awarded the construction contract on January 5, <br />2009 with a planned construction start date of February 2, 2009. <br />Anal sis <br />Brown and Caldwell, as the designer of record for this project, has the best knowledge of the <br />design and can provide the best support services. Construction support services include the <br />review of submittals, shop drawings, change orders, responding to Requests for Information <br />(BFI's), special inspections, start up assistance, and record drawing preparation, all of which are <br />necessary for the successful completion of the project.
