necessary (56 billable hours). This task includes a total of 3 change orders will be processed. The City will be responsible for processing change orders with the Contractor. The Consultant will also assist the City with claims assistance. Consultant agrees that if a design error falls outside a reasonable interpretation of the Standard of Performance, Consultant shall prepare specifications and drawings for the change order that is a result of that design error at no extra cost to the city and this change order shall not count towards the 3 change orders in this task. f. Special Inspections: This task includes special inspections by the Consultants structural engineer and special inspector as listed on plan drawing 698 - "General Structural Notes" (82 billable hours). Special inspections shall include all structural concrete, reinforcing steel, all field and shop welding, and bolts installed in concrete, all epoxy anchors, wedge anchors, and anchor bolts. The Consultant will prepare a site visit memorandum for each of the site visits. This task includes 8 visits for the Consultants structural engineer and 8 site visits for the special inspector. The Consultant shall contract with Kleinfelder or SCL if their special inspector is not available and the City shall give a 48 hour notice for all special inspections. The Consultant shall provide a letter at the end of the project acknowledging the special inspections are acceptable per Exhibit E. g. Site Visits/Meetings: This task includes site visits/meetings by the Consultants personal to clarify questions for the Contractor and the City. This task includes 12 site visits (54 billable hours). The Consultant will prepare a site visit memorandum for each site visit for the City's records. This task does not include attendance of weekly progress or construction meetings. h. Startup Assistance: The Consultant will assist the City with startup of the WAS pumps, polymer blend system, and new solids thickening system (30 billable hours). This task assumes that the City does not need startup assistance with the existing system. The Consultant will review the Contractor's startup plans before the startup site visits. This task assumes 3 site visits for startup assistance will be required. i. Record Drawing Preparation: The Consultant will create record drawings and specifications from the Contractor and City markups (68 billable hours). j. Project Management: This task will include project management, monthly progress reports, and preparation of monthly invoices (44 billable hours).
