Councilmember Souza asked if any of the concrete being used in the <br />Senior Center project is recycled from other parts of the city. Ken stated that none of the <br />concrete is recycled from San Leandro; however, the fly ash being used is from recycled <br />materials. <br />Regarding the EBMUD Building Demolition, Councilmember Souza inquired if the <br />proposed new residential development was still going forward. Steve Hollister stated that <br />due to the current market constraints, it was unlikely that the development would still <br />take place. <br />Regarding the Safe Routes to Schools project, Councilmember Souza stated the lighted <br />speed sign eastbound on Cedar hasn't worked for a while. Keith Cooke said that the staff <br />will review the programming. <br />Regarding the Water Pollution Control Plant, Mayor Santos asked for a review of the <br />Schilling Report from 2001-2002. He asked how much of that report has been worked <br />on. He would also like a recap of the costs put into the facility over the last five years. <br />
