As the voice of San Leandro business, we strongly <br />support the project and believe that it is an important first step ir_ the creation of a beautiful, <br />vibrant, pedestrian oriented neighborhood and a catalyst for the revitalization of Downtown San <br />Leandro. <br />1;P.lndustrialRoundtable In its unanimous approval of the Dawntown San Leandro Transit Oriented Development <br />Dale Reed Strategy, the City Council adopted a vision for a new neighborhood that builds upon the existing <br />Donbte D Properties strengths of the area; proximity to the BART station and AC Transit; and the proximity to the <br />IMP. The Chamber Board believes that the San Leandro <br />Jonn Goading Crossings project will be a model for infill development and will serve to attract additional <br />Quadric Group investment in other commercial and residential properties and local businesses in the TOD Strategy <br />V.P. Marke[ing Area. They have held numerous meetings and workshops, met <br />with individual homeowner and business groups, and have conducted tours of similar projects in <br />~~!"pS"r`~"ndn' the Bay Area.
