Page 2 of 3 <br />February 20, 2009 -Notice of Completion submitted to William Schock. <br />March 16, 2009 -Notice of Completion submitted to City Council for review and approval <br />One-Year Maintenance & Warranty Bond -will be dated when approved by City Council <br />Contractor will supply to the City as soon as the date is given to the contractor. The <br />bond will be valid for an entire year from the date of acceptance. <br />81 Homes have been insulated to date - (Intro Phase = 10 and Phase I = 71) <br />PARTICIPATION /SELECTION <br />On March 14, 2008, the City Manager approved allowing rentals located in the most noise-impacted <br />area (56 CNEL) to participate if the available spots are not filled with owner-occupied residents. <br />There are 119 spots remaining to make 200 homes. C. Kell-Smith & Associates recommends that <br />an additional 15 homes be held as alternate homes should homeowners drop from participation. <br />Currently 118 Homes on the Participation List although <br />1 home has been dropped because she did not want to lose her custom blinds. <br />9 homes have not responded to any phone calls, flyers, letters, etc. <br />Moved to subsequent Phase III <br />3 additional homes have foreclosed <br />Moved to subsequent Phase III <br />7 homes have permit /code issues requiring resolution prior to participating in the RSIP <br />CKSA sent letters informing them of what needs to be done and has moved these <br />homes to subsequent Phase III <br />Phase 11 currently has 75 participants <br />Phase 111 currently has a possible 42 participants -most of which are non-responsive applicants <br />from previous phases. Of the 42 possible participants, 18 are in the 56 CNEL and 24 in the <br />"alternate" or 53-55 CNEL. The trend has been that there is more of a homeowner interest in the <br />less noise impacted area. <br />PHASE l~ PROJECT STATUS <br />Architectural Surveys for Phase II began on August 13. The last home was surveyed on <br />December 29, 2008. <br />69 homes total were surveyed during this time <br />Homeowner Plan Reviews were held at the San Leandro Public Library on January 20 and 21st. <br />Plans were reviewed for 59 properties and agreements and easements for these <br />properties were signed and notarized. <br />Aircraft Noise Insulation Projects • Program Management • Administrative Services <br />
