DRAFT MINUTES <br /> Page 4 <br />March 16, 2009 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />removing the ll businesses within the BID <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that the program does benefit all businesses within the BID. <br />As a periodic rider on the LINKS, he witnesses that it is well-used. Reduction in the <br />number of vehicles on the West San Leandro streets justifies the use of Redevelopment <br />funds. <br /> <br />Councilmember Prola commented that he also rides the LINKS occasionally. Many <br />businesses in his area are in favor of the LINKS. <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. 2009-002 <br />, an Ordinance Amending Title 2 of the San Leandro <br />Municipal Code to Delete Chapter 15 and to Add a New Chapter 15 <br />Establishing the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District in <br />the City of San Leandro (provides continuation of the LINKS Shuttle service <br />until June 30, 2014).
