Rose Padilla Johnson, Executive Director of Davis Street Family Resource Center (DSFRC), addressed the City Council, acknowledging the many people in the audience who attended tonight's meeting in support of DSFRC. Ms. Johnson commented on the 34% increase in the number of people served by the DSFRC in the past year. She urged the Council's support of DSFRC's request for financial assistance to purchase its facility on Teagarden Street. She commented that this is the opportune time for DSFRC to purchase its property, and doing so would allow it to use its rent dollars toward providing additional services. 6.
