EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Summary <br />This project involves the rehabilitation of a lift station near Wicks Blvd/Burroughs Ave and another <br />lift station on Mulford Point Drive next to the Marina Boat Harbor. The "Wicks'' lift station shall <br />be converted to a submersible two pump lift station and the outflow line shall be realigned to flow <br />directly into the 14" or 10'" forcemain running parallel on Merced St, bypassing the Merced lift <br />station. The '`Blue Dolphin" lift station will require replacement of the two existing pumps and <br />associated valves, and equipment with a '`package pump" system meeting the specifications of the <br />City. <br />Scope of Work -Design Tasks <br />• 25% Design -Basis of Design (Proposed Layouts) <br />Consultant shall prepare preliminary layouts for the Wicks forcemain extension <br />and deliver 6 sets of layouts to the City for initial approval. The Consultant will <br />meet with the City to discuss the basis of design and to establish the design <br />alignment of the forcemain and the layouts of each pump station and control <br />panels. <br />• 50% Design <br />The Consultant shall prepare Plans and deliver to the City for review. The <br />Consultant shall provide 6 sets of plan sheets. The plans shall incorporate <br />existing utility data research and any required utilities for the project. The <br />Consultant shall meet with the City as needed to discuss design and make changes <br />as requested by the City. <br />• 70% Design <br />70% Plans -The Consultant will prepare 70% Plans based on the approved 50% <br />Design Plans. All sheets shall be prepared in accordance with the City's drafting <br />standards and will be on City's standard borders supplemented by the Consultants <br />drafting standards and standard details, symbols, and abbreviations as <br />appropriate. The CAD files will be saved in AutoCAD 2007 format. The City <br />will receive 6 sets of the 70% plans that will include Cover Sheet, Plan and <br />Profile Sheets, and Detail Sheets. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between 08-593-52-243 <br />City of San Leantlro and Freyer & Laureta, Inc. --Exhibit A Page 15 <br />
