CALL TO ORDER <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Loe$ler, Lothrop, <br />Nardine; Mayor Young <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Proclamation Designating March 2, 1999, as Peace Corps Day in San Leandro. <br />Lorin Peters and Tim and Bobbi Skiles accepted the Proclamation on behalf of the <br />Peace Corps. <br />B. Proclamation Designating Mazch 14, 1999, as Arbor Day in San Leandro to <br />Celebrate the City's Tree Planting Activities in 1999, with Tree-Planting <br />Ceremonies at Marina Pazk and the San Leandro Ball Pazk. <br />Steve Emslie introduced Dan Nagle as a new member of his staff dedicated to <br />drafting a Tree Preservation Ordinance. Dan Nagle accepted the Proclamation and <br />invited Council to attend the two Tree-Planting Ceremonies at Marina Pazk and <br />the San Leandro Ball Park on Mazch 14, 1999. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an ofhcial record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br />None <br />
