Matter of TEFRA Hearing Regarding Villa San Leandro; to Hear and Consider Information Concerning the Proposed Issuance by the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA), on Behalf of the City of San Leandro, of Multi-Family Housing Revenue Bonds to Finance the Acquisition, Construction and Development of an Approximately 72-Unit, Assisted-Living, Multi-Family Rental Housing Project Located at 345 Davis Street (formerly 1240 Clarke Street); to Be Known as Villa San Leandro ("Project"). -- The Developer, William Foster, has requested that this matter be withdrawn. This matter was withdrawn and no Council action was taken. Council Member Glaze asked for the status of the project, and staff clarified for him that the property has been acquired, and they own the property "in fee."
