Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council and Page 6 <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Special Meeting -- June 14, 1999 <br />B. Matter of the Redevelopment Plan for the Proposed West San Leandro/MacArthur <br />Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area (provides for hearing of all evidence and <br />testimony regarding the proposed certification of the Environmental Impact Report <br />[EIR] and adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the West San <br />Leandro/MacArthurBouievard Redevelopment Project Area). <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Steve <br />Emslie, Director of Development Services, introduced Debbie Potter, <br />Redevelopment Administrator, who gave a detailed report on the Proposed West <br />San Leandro/MacArthurBouievard Redevelopment Project Area. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />David Leestma, 1166 Glen Drive, addressed the Redevelopment Agency/City <br />Council ,urging Option 2, which includes the changes to the Draft Plan proposed <br />by the Planning Commission. <br />Gary Moliter, 841 St. Mary Avenue, addressed the AgencylCouncil, urging <br />them to select Option 3, which would include changes to the Draft Plan proposed <br />by the Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) but would not include <br />mandatory Planning Commission review within the project area. <br />Debbie Jetl'rey, 502 Superior Avenue, addressed the Agency/Council, urging <br />them to select Option 3. <br />Dan Walters, 2250 Davis Street, addressed the Agency/Council, urging them to <br />select Option 3. <br />Karen Thompson, 1933 Davis Street, Suite 200, addressed the Agency/Council, <br />urging them to select Option 3. <br />Tom Guarino, 262 Davis Street, Representing the San Leandro Chamber of <br />Commerce, addressed the Agency/City Council, urging them to select Option 3. <br />Michael Boyle, 5720 Balmoral Drive, Oakland, addressed the Agency/City <br />Council, urging them to select Option 3. <br />John McManus, 7677 Oakport Street, #1100, Oakland, addressed the <br />AgencylCity Council, urging them to select Option 3. <br />Ned Kisner, 1930 Fairway Drive, addressed the Agency/City Council, urging <br />them to select Option 3. <br />Jodi Francisco, 1045 MacArthur Boulevard, addressed the Agency/City <br />Council, urging them to select Option 3. <br />
