Mayor Young echoed the comments made by various Council Members regarding the Chief of Police. She commented it is clear crime is down in this community, and she feels it is a direct result of the fine, outstanding Police Department this community boasts. 7. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. Item 7.I was removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business and Item 7.K was removed from the Agenda.
