NEW BUSINESS <br />Items Removed from the Consent Calendar: <br />6.I Resolution Approving Installation of Speed Hurnps at Various Locations Throughout <br />the City (139` Avenue between Rose Drive and East 14'~ Street; Alexandria Street <br />between Manor Boulevard and Beatrice Street; Eveleth Avenue between Castro Street <br />and Marina Boulevard; Kesterson Street between Manor Boulevard and Beatrice <br />Street; and West Broadmoor Boulevard between San Leandro Boulevard and Pershing <br />Drive). <br />Council Member Glaze indicated the original request had been for additional Stop <br />Signs and traffic controls on Alexandria. What was recommended was speed bumps, <br />which is different than what was originally requested. <br />Ray Davis indicated he does not recall, specifically, the original request; but he will <br />research that and get back to the City Council with a report. He further indicated the <br />residents along the street went through the petition process requesting speed humps, <br />which is the standard process to go through and requires a minimum of 2/3rds of the <br />signatures of the residents. <br />
