Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council and Page 13 <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting -November 15,1999 <br />Uche Udemezue, City Engineer, explained that the action the City Council is taking <br />tonight is only to confirm the Final Map is in conformance with the Vested Tentative <br />Map that has already been approved by City Council. He further noted the City <br />Council cannot deny the map unless they find it is not in substantial conformance with <br />the approved Vested Tentative Map. <br />The City Council then reconsidered the previous motion and took another vote on <br />Item E. <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />-- Resolution No. 99-166, Resolution Approving Final Subdivision Map, Subdivision <br />Improvement Agreement (Public Improvements), Subdivision Improvement <br />Agreement (Private Improvements), and Acceptance of Dedication of Public <br />Utility Easement and Public Right-of--Way for Tract 7093; Medallion, Phase I, <br />Adjacent to 701 Fremont Avenue; Developer: Ryland Homes of California, Inc. <br />(provides for the development of twenty-three [23], single-family dwellings on a <br />2.2-acre vacant lot adjacent to 701 Fremont Avenue). (2880) <br />M/S/C Grant and Young. Ayes: 5; Noes: 0; Absent: Galvan and Nardine <br />A. Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro <br />Approving a Memorandum of Understanding with Ford Motor Company for <br />Acquisition and Development of 1111 Marina Boulevard; APN 77A-0648-023-01 <br />(outlines terms for the relocation of the Chovanes Ford Dealership to 1111 Marina <br />Boulevard). <br />Council Member Grant indicated she lives within walking distance of Chovane's <br />Ford, but she has conferred with the City Attorney and he has confirmed she lives <br />outside the disqualification limits. <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />-- Resolution No. 99-31, Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency <br />of the City of San Leandro Approving a Memorandum of Understanding with <br />Ford Motor Company for Acquisition and Development of 1111 Marina <br />Boulevard; APN 77A-0648-023-01 (outlines terms for the relocation of the <br />Chovanes Ford Dealership to 1111 Marina Boulevard). <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Loeffler.
