~~.
~.
b. Olympic size swimming pool at Castlemont High School
c. Durant Square Project (EIR to be released this week).
d. Design of the new AMTRAK-Coliseum intercity Rail Station at 73`a
New Albertson's regional representive, Ron Henry, spoke of Albertson's plan to
Up-grade the Foothill Center store.
4. I continue to hear complaints from residents about mail being delivered later. The
recent letter by Wes McClure, former City Manager, indicates that there may be other
residents who are experiencing mail delays. Maybe it is time for a meeting of the
PostMaster with some residents business leaders?
Recently, we received an Annual Report on the activities of the Public Works Dept. I
was impressed with the level of services. I want to thank Bob Rockett and his staff for
providing this annual report. I am sure the public would like to read it in our public
libraries. It caused me to wonder: do we produce annual reports by Dept. for the
public to read have access to ?. It has been some years ago that we consolidated our
City of San Leandro Fire Dept with Alameda County Fire Service. I think it is time
for a full report to the citizens of San Leandro on the services gained, expenditures for
the past 5 years, and the benefits for the public of San Leandro.I think it would also
be helpful for the public to have annual reports from: Economic Development, Police,
Engineering, Traffic, Community Services, and Planning.
