PUBLIC HEARINGS -CITY COUNCIL ONLY <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br />A. Matter of Proposed Vacation of a Public Right-of--Way, a Portion of Peralta <br />Avenue from the Union Pacific RailroadBART Right-of--Way to the Most <br />Westerly End. <br />-- An Ordinance Vacating a Public Right-of--Way, a Portion of Peralta Avenue <br />from the Union Pacific Railroad/BART Right-of--Way to the Most Westerly <br />End. <br />-- Pass to Print <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Uche <br />Udemezue, City Engineer, gave the staff report. <br />Council Member Loeffler expressed his concern that the street appears to be <br />closed already, prior to the City Council acting on this issue. Staff responded that <br />it is only closed at this time to protect workers in the area . <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />
