Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting <br />January 5, 1998 <br />Page - 3 - <br />C. Glenn Hilton, Best Manor Homeowners' Association, addressed the Council <br />and asked that they consider extending the holiday lighting on East 14th <br />Street north to Dutton Avenue. <br />D. Tom Guarino, Representing the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed <br />the Council in support of the proposal to reroute Alameda County Transit <br />District Routes from West Juana between East 14th Street and Hays <br />Street. He also recognized those persons who serve on the Task Force <br />regarding parking on West Juana. <br />E. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Council regarding <br />their recent action to direct the City Attorney to file suit against the <br />Oakland Port Authority. <br />5. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered <br />for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. <br />Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br />The Consent Calendar was approved as follows: <br />M/S/C Galvan and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />A. Minutes of the Meeting of December 15, 1997. Approved as submitted. <br />B. Resolution No. 98-1, Resolution Deleting Restricted Parking, Handicapped <br />Parking, Title VI, Chapter 1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, <br />Hutchings Drive (provides for removing on-street, handicapped space in <br />residential neighborhood). (1022) <br />C. Resolution No. 98-2, Resolution Deleting Restricted Parking, 2-Hour <br />Parking, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sundays and Holidays Excepted, Title <br />VI, Chapter 1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, Cherry Street (provides <br />for elimination of time-limit parking on Cherry Street). (1022) <br />D. Resolution No. 98-3, Resolution Supporting the Proposal to Reroute <br />Alameda County (A.C.) Transit District Routes from West Juana Between <br />East 14th Street and Hays Street.
