Barry Luboviski, 8400 Enterprise Way, Oakland, addressed the council in opposition to Wal-Mart and requested that further Public Hearings be held. Pierre Brantome, 29836 Clearbrook Circle, Hayward, addressed the Council in support of Wal-Mart. Ellen Geis, 834 Cary Drive, addressed the Council in support of having a Wal-Mart in San Leandro. Rita Hartley, 576 East Merle Court, addressed the Council with concerns that there is no oversight. Residents need to feel comfortable that there is a meeting of the minds. She stated staff should follow Council policy. Sonja Patron, 2700 Las Positas, Livermore, addressed the Council in support of Wal-Mart. Karen Thompson, 1933 Davis Street, Suite 200, Westgate Property Manager, addressed the Council in support of Wal-Mart. She stated Wal-Mart is needed to support the center. Richard Dye, 341 Williams Street, addressed the Council in support of Wal-Mart. Larry Lucay, 190 Cherrywood Avenue, addressed the Council, expressing concerns with traffic and opposing Wal-Mart coming to San Leandro.
