<br />., , <br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 10 - <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - January 20, 1998 <br />3. Vice Mayor Loeffler commented on the use of "A" frame signing in the <br />community and clarified that the City has an Ordinance prohibiting <br />that type of advertising. He suggested more public communication be <br />done regarding the communication of the City's enforcement policies. <br />The Mayor asked how enforcement is handled on weekends, and staff <br />responded that they will get a report back to the Council on this <br />issue. <br />Vice Mayor Loeffler presented the Mayor her Employee Service Award <br />Plaque commemorating 10 years of service to the City in various <br />capacities. <br />4. Mayor Corbett reported on the recent ceremony held on Martin Luther <br />King's Birthday in Oakland. <br />Mayor Corbett also reported on the action taken by both the San <br />Leandro and San Lorenzo School Boards, who joined in the lawsuit with <br />the City against the Port of Oakland. <br />Mayor Corbett also commented on the Grand Opening of the Temporary <br />Library site. <br />Mayor Corbett concluded by getting direction from the Council that <br />they would like to be recognized as serving the southern half of <br />Alameda County as it relates to the Alameda County Waste Management <br />Authority. <br />9. ADJOURN <br />The City Council adjourned its meeting at 9:03 p.m. to a Work Session on <br />Monday, January 26, 1998, at 7:00 p.m., in the Civic Center, City Council <br />Chambers. <br />APPROVED: <br />Attest <br />M.
