OPEN FORUM <br />Page - 8 - <br />Open Forum is limited to 3 minutes maximum per speaker, 15 minutes total. <br />A. Pam Richards, 335 Peralta Avenue, addressed the Council regarding their <br />discussion about reducing signs throughout the City and requested that <br />they not change the signs on Peralta as they relate to truck traffic. <br />B. Janet Plankenhorn, 1434 Homans Avenue, addressed the Council regarding <br />the plan to move the houses on Hillside Drive and noted the City has <br />been getting a lot of positive press. <br />C. Mark Behning, 725 Joaquin, addressed the Council regarding the number <br />signs at Boulders' Golf Center and added that each business should be <br />limited to the number of signs they are allowed to have. <br />D. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Council, clarifying <br />the items under New Business as they relate to the election, campaign <br />signs, and clarified that only one employee group Memorandum of <br />Understanding was on the Consent Calendar this evening. <br />8. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br />None <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br />None <br />C. City Council Comments <br />1. Council Members Galvan and Young commended City staff, the Police <br />Department, City Manager, and Kathy Ornelas, who have put together <br />information responding to the community during the various rain- <br />related disasters and the Hillside-area residential crisis. <br />2. Council Member Young commented for the record that she missed Vice <br />Mayor Loeffler, as he is on vacation. <br />3. Council Member Polvorosa agreed and noted staff has taken a pro- <br />active stance and has alleviated a lot of stress throughout the <br />community. <br />
