PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />None <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited <br />to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items of public <br />interest, at this time. <br />A. Ed Shapiro, 764 Bridge Road, addressed the Council regarding the <br />proposed sign ordinance. He referenced the Boulders' Golf Center sign <br />and stated he has concerns with sign venues. He indicated just that <br />corner alone could become an area with a proliferation of signs. He <br />feels signs should be just for City-owned properties. He asked that the <br />Counci 1 put the ordinance on hol d unt i 1 they can take a 1 ook at the <br />whole sign policy Citywide. <br />The City Manager commented on the Council's actions last week. He added <br />that, based on comments the Council made then, he would suggest the <br />Council allow staff to do a comprehensive report and come back to the <br />Council in six months with a City-wide policy. He suggested the Council <br />consider continuing the matter on the Agenda this evening for six <br />months. The Council agreed. <br />B. Tony Santos, 14495 Nassau Road, addressed the Council regarding the <br />recent letter sent out by William Schock regarding the Revised Flood <br />Zone Study. He appealed directly to the Council to ask them to Appeal <br />this study on behalf of the residents in the Marina Faire area. He <br />noted the Revised Study was done without any public comment and without <br />any Public Hearings, and no one understands the ramifications of what <br />this letter signifies. <br />
