Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Loeffler, Lothrop, Polvorosa, <br />Young; Mayor Corbett <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Proclamation Declaring March 17, 1998, "Gina Guidi Day" in San Leandro. <br />The Mayor presented to Gina Guidi, a Proclamation declaring March 17, <br />1998, "Gina Guidi Day" in San Leandro. Gina expressed her gratification <br />to the City Council and the community for honoring her. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />None <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited <br />to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items of public <br />interest, at this time. <br />A. Carey Walker, 471 Santa Monica, addressed the Council regarding the <br />proposed gun tax and taxes, in general. <br />B. Larry Norry, 2532 Williams Street, addressed the Council regarding City <br />monies in "secret reserve" funds; past employee furloughs during the <br />holidays; and, Parcel Map 7186, under New Business on the Agenda, noting <br />he feels what is being done is not legal. He concluded by stating the <br />letter of support from Raffi Demirjian should be disregarded. <br />C. Audrey Albers, 2037 Marina Court, addressed the Council in opposition to <br />Parcel Map 7186, under New Business, noting he would be making a <br />substandard lot. She referenced deed restrictions on the property and <br />suggested Council not act on this until that can be researched. <br />D. John Sellers, 1203 Neptune Drive, addressed the Council in support of <br />Parcel Map 7186 and urged its approval. <br />
