' Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council, San Leandro Economic Page 11 <br />Development Agency, and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting <br />November 2,1998 <br />(3) Directed staff to begin preparing the appropriate contracts and <br />resolutions for City Council consideration at the November 16, 1998, <br />Meeting. <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Galvan. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />Council recessed at 9:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. <br />B. Matter of Enterprise Funds -Status Update and Recommendations. <br />City Manager 7ermanis gave a status update on and presented recommendations as <br />they relate to the City's Enterprise Funds. <br />Bob Rockett, Director of Public Works Services, gave an overview of the Refuse <br />Enterprise Fund. <br />Council Member Nardine requested that the City be proactive and send notices to <br />schools in order to provide phone numbers to call when they are awaze of when <br />they will require additional pick-ups. <br />Mr. Rockett then went over service that is available to the Marina Seagate <br />Homeowners' Association and gave a brief history of what has been discussed <br />with the Association in the past. It was noted they have been provided with a cost <br />estimate for the annual cleaning of their streets, as they aze privately owned streets. <br />It was noted the annual debris program is provided to those with individual cans in <br />that azea. Green waste disposal has been discussed for the Association and is <br />provided by San Leandro Recycling. Authorization for the location of the bin <br />does not seem to be a problem, but they aze still waiting for the letter of <br />authorization from American Golf Corporation for the placement of the bin at the <br />back of the Golf Course Driving Range. <br />Council discussion ensued regarding the proposed members of the Refuse <br />Enterprise Fund Citizen Committee. It was suggested that there be representation <br />on behalf of Senior Citizens and that there be a "residential" customer <br />representative. <br />
