Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council, San Leandro Economic Page 12 <br />` Development Agency, and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting <br />November 2, 1998 <br />The following Motion was then introduced: <br />Minute Order No. 98-69, Matter of Enterprise Funds -Status Update and <br />recommendations. (1051) <br />The City Council: <br />(1) Directed staff to proceed with implementing all recommendations <br />included in the October 29, 1998, staff report; <br />(2) Directed staff to meet with the affected employee association on an <br />informal basis to discuss reductions in service delivery levels; <br />(3) Directed the Mayor to appoint an Ad Hoc Committee of the City Council <br />to nominate citizens for the Refuse Enterprise Fund Review Committee; <br />(4) Directed that the Ad Hoc Nominating Committee meet to formulate <br />recommendations; <br />(5) Council shall then appoint a Citizen's Committee, to include <br />representation on behalf of Senior Citizens; a "residential" customer; and <br />a representative of the San Leandro City Employees Association; <br />(6) Directed staff to distribute appropriate notices; the City Manager to hire <br />an outside consultant to advise staff regarding the structure of the <br />RFQ/RFP, consequences of business terms, contract and negotiations; <br />and staff to develop and distribute Request for Quotations/Request for <br />Proposals. <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Nardine.
