Matter of PD-9$-1; Amendment to Planned Unit Development; to Convert a <br />Service Station's Work Bays to a Convenience Store; 15018 Hesperian Boulevard; <br />Assessor's Parcel Number 77D-1496-4-4; U. C. Hwang, Applicant and Property <br />Owner; CC-PD Commercial Community (Planned Development) District. <br />Continued from the October 19,1998, City Council Meeting. <br />-- Motion Certifying Negative Declazation for PD-98-1 as Complete and in <br />Compliance with CEQA Requirements; Approving Findings; and Approving <br />the Planned Development, PD-98-1, Subject to the Conditions of Approval. <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Beth <br />Greene gave the staff report and explained the project in detail and asked that the <br />Council support the Planning Commission's recommendation of support, with the <br />recommended Conditions of Approval. <br />Council Member Glaze questioned whether they needed to comply with ADA <br />requirements as they relate to having access to anon-full-service gas station. Staff <br />did not know the answer as it relates to this project but noted that the Applicant <br />could address that in his remazks. <br />Du Yan Hwang, Applicant, addressed the Council in support of his proposed <br />project. Regarding ADA requirements, he noted that when service stations went <br />to self-service, it was required that, if more than one employee is working at one <br />
